After Jesus, the Apostle Paul emerged as the preeminent figure in the Jesus movement.

Once a violent persecutor of the followers of Christ, he was dramatically converted and became a zealous, undaunted advocate of the Christian message that took him to Greece, the land of the Olympian gods and games, home to the philosophical heavyweights of the western world, and the birthplace of democracy.

Hear the Call of Christian Roots

We'll retrace Paul’s journeys to proclaim the Christian gospel in the first-century Roman Empire, much of which was both Greek-speaking and Greek thinking.

We'll saunter the streets in the sprawling ruins of onetime, prominent, ancient Greek cities where Paul, the great Apostle to the Gentiles, was guided by a dream to establish a Christian bridgehead into Europe. His fervent, courageous and oftimes dangerous missionary labours shaped the direction of western civilization for centuries to come. As history played out, Paul's preaching of the apostolic gospel enabled Christ to overthrow the spiritual sovereignty of the ancient Greek gods.
